EIGHT avocadoes for FIVE bucks? Are you serious? All I ask is, come summer, you spare me the cost of mangoes. There is no justice down south.

That looks good. We had spag bog. It's just that kind of day, I'm just hoping to get it together for something vegetable for dinner. The f&v shop near my place has some rock hard avocados for $1 at the moment. I didn't bother with them. We will be getting stuck into feta and snow peas and little South Australian tomatoes. I'm hanging out for asparagus and practically begging the broad beans to produce something edible.

Hi Sooz, A couple of posts back you were looking for somewhere to buy some lycra etc. My recommendation is to go and see Robyn at "Johno's Variety Centre" fabric shop. It is located at 77 Duporth Avenue Maroochydore 4558.Ph. 54435966. I am a quilter and often go in there because it is truly an Aladdin's cave of fabric. There is more swimwear and dancewear, sequins, ribbons, etc than I have ever seen collectively anywhere. Robyn is negotiable with price aswell, especially if you're buying quantities.
Also I really like your post about modern houses that have no character and are open glass boxes - so true! Cheers from Fran and happy sewing.
